A Dental Implant is made of two parts. One part replaces the root of the tooth, which is the actual titanium implant and the other looks like a natural tooth which is called the dental crown.

Treatment happens in three stages:  Firstly, we implant a titanium root fixture into your jaw bone, which fuses together over the course of three months.  The second step is to insert an abutment, which screws into your root fixture and sits above the gum line.Lastly, a dental crown is placed on top of the abutment giving the appearance and functionality of a normal tooth.
